Hi, I’m Whitney!

I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Petaluma, California. I work with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and life transitions. My goal is to create a space where curiosity, honesty, and growth can unfold.

Some of my specialties

Experiencing anxiety symptoms is very common for many people. My focus is to help you better understand the anxiety and establish coping skills to reduce its control over you.

I’m a Level 2 PACT therapist — that means I use attachment theory, neuroscience, and the biology of human arousal to assess and help couples address relationship issues.

Societal pressure harms both women and men, often undermining confidence and relationships. I help clients deconstruct these pressures so they can shed stigma tied to gender.

How I approach therapy

I work from a client-centered perspective, which means therapy begins with your experience, your story, and your goals. From there, I integrate attachment-based work, parts work, and strengths-based approaches to support meaningful and lasting change.

I also believe curiosity is essential to growth. Together, we explore patterns, emotions, and behaviors that may be keeping you stuck, while identifying new ways of responding to yourself and others.

I love to laugh! I believe that laughter can sometimes be the most therapeutic intervention.

Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family and friends, yoga, and eating really good food!
